Join us for Monthly Meetings.
AMILS meets monthly to check-in, meditate, and engage other mindfulness activities. Currently, these meetings are held over zoom. Email Emily Hornsby at ehornsby@mhlaw.com or Susan Han at susan@nettleshanlaw.com for more information.
Join us for Mindful Mondays.
Mindful Mondays are a half-hour “virtual sit” held every Monday at 2:00PM CT. Join us for 20 minutes of guided meditation, 5 minutes of gathering time at the beginning, and 5 minutes for questions and comments.
The National Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being, whose members include the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility, the Conference of Chief Justices, and the National Center for State Courts, recommends mindfulness meditation as a way for lawyers to reduce stress and promote well-being and balance in their lives.
