How Mindfulness Made Me a Better Lawyer
Tuesday, April 15 at 12 pm ET/ 11 am CT/ 9 am PT
In this month’s Community Connections gathering, John Devlin, MILS Oregon Chapter Chair, will explore why mindfulness is a superpower and offer practical tips on how to incorporate mindfulness into your legal work.

John splits his time between mediating all types of civil cases and litigating complex civil rights cases. He started his mindfulness practice in 2019, when he was looking for a healthy way to deal with stress, anxiety, and burnout. Since then, he has seen how mindfulness has made him a better lawyer -- connecting with clients and witnesses; dealing with opposing counsel; helping resolve high-conflict disputes; and handing the ups and downs of legal practice.
Feel free to share this invitation with your friends and colleagues in the legal community - all are welcome!
We look forward to seeing you on April 15th!
